OZONE CHAIN · THE NATIVE COIN

One coin.
A connected ecosystem.

OZONE pays for transactions, supports delegated network security and carries a voice in on-chain governance. It is the native coin of Ozone Chain at ozonechain.com.

01 / UTILITY WITHIN THE NETWORK

Four roles.
One native coin.

Network utility explains how OZONE is used. It does not promise a market price, income or investment return.

01 / TRANSACT

Pay for execution.

Transfers and smart-contract calls pay gas fees in OZONE. The whitepaper describes fees flowing to validators and delegators through the distribution module.

Connect to Ozone →
02 / STAKE

Support network security.

Validators and delegators stake OZONE. Delegated stake contributes to a validator’s voting power and is subject to slashing and unbonding rules.

Understand staking →
03 / GOVERN

Participate in decisions.

Staked OZONE carries voting power on proposals covering parameters, upgrades, allocation releases and community funds.

Explore governance →
04 / USE

Settle ecosystem activity.

Ecosystem applications use OZONE for payments or fees. Each application has its own functionality, contracts and participation conditions.

02 / THE SUPPLY FRAMEWORK

A fixed ceiling.
Clear definitions.

Whitepaper v3.0 sets a maximum of 50 million OZONE. Allocation, issuance history and circulating balances describe different things.

HOW RELEASES DIFFER

The 95% ecosystem allocation

The whitepaper describes a treasury contract holding ecosystem rewards for distribution to participants through NFTWall. This is a separate mechanism from the 120-month operational release schedule.

The remaining 5%

Team, liquidity, research and development, and server infrastructure allocations release in monthly instalments over 10 years. Each release requires DAO approval; the schedule alone does not prove that a release has occurred.

04 / SUPPLY TRANSPARENCY

Read the model.
Verify the balances.

Burns reduce total supply. Treasury and locked allocations reduce the portion counted as circulating. Keep these categories separate when reading market or explorer data.
