Network parameters
Changes to the rules and settings that guide network operation.
Staked OZONE carries voting power. Explore how the community proposes changes, considers trade-offs and steers the network through on-chain governance.
Whitepaper v3.0 describes four areas of network governance. Each proposal should make the intended change and its consequences clear to voters.
Changes to the rules and settings that guide network operation.
Proposed chain upgrades, including the activation block height.
Approval of monthly releases under the OZONE allocation schedule.
Decisions about spending from funds intended for the community.
An OZONE holder submits a proposal with a deposit. Read the proposed change, its purpose and the requested action before deciding whether to support it.
The proposal enters voting once the minimum deposit is reached. Confirm the current deposit requirements in the network interface.
Staked OZONE votes Yes, No, No with veto or Abstain. Delegators can vote directly or inherit their validator’s vote.
A proposal must meet quorum and the passing threshold. The whitepaper does not publish numerical thresholds or a voting duration; check current parameters before participating.
Parameter changes apply automatically. Software upgrades activate at the block height specified in the approved proposal.
Voting power is a responsibility to understand a change, not just a button to press.
Review the complete text, affected parameters, requested funds and proposed activation conditions. Follow the current proposal in the network dashboard.
If you delegate, understand your validator’s position and whether you want to cast a direct vote. Check eligibility and transaction details in your wallet.
This page describes Ozone Chain network governance. NFTWall and other applications can have their own contract-level governance and eligibility rules; those must not be assumed to govern the chain.
Read section 5 of whitepaper v3.0, then inspect current proposals and parameters. Staking also involves slashing and unbonding risks.
Governance process follows Ozone Chain whitepaper v3.0, October 2026. Current network parameters and proposal status may change. No fixed quorum, deposit, voting duration or approval threshold is asserted here.
